Do I need a specific reason or illness to do testing?
No. Though if you’re recently recovering from injury or illness, getting a lab baseline can be really helpful to measure progress. Labs are valuable for everyone, even if you’re healthy.
How do I get results into Masterlete?
Two paths, same price ($350 per interpretation): A) Order through us — schedule a visit to a Quest near you, walk in, give your blood, and we automatically upload the results with interpretation. B) Upload your own — if you have recent results from Quest or LabCorp, upload the PDF and we interpret it. Both include 1 month of Masterlete membership. We notify you (typically <48 hours) when the interpretation is complete.
Can I upload labs from Quest or LabCorp?
Yes! Make sure they are in PDF format (not scanned) and once you’ve logged in, click on the “Upload Labs” button.
What files can I upload?
PDF files are the only supported format at this time.
Do I need to fast?
Yes. Fasting glucose is one of the most important biomarkers we analyze. Fast for at least 12 hours before your lab visit. Drink water, but no caffeine or food. For optimal results, avoid alcohol, fatty foods and caffeine 24 hours before your draw. We highly recommend scheduling in the morning. Pro tip: go out for a nice breakfast with a friend after the draw.
Should I schedule in the morning?
Yes. The fasting period makes morning draws much easier.
Should I avoid a hard workout before my labs?
Ideally yes. Some biomarkers like Creatine Kinase can be impacted by vigorous exercise the day before. If you’re using labs for performance, schedule the draw after a rest or recovery day.
When will I see results?
If you upload your lab results, we guarantee results within 48 hours. If you order through us, results are typically ready in 5–7 business days after your draw.
Do you provide medical advice or diagnosis?
No. We provide no medical advice, treatment, or prescriptions. Our technology is here for informational purposes only—to help guide you.
Can I share results with my doctor?
Absolutely — and we make it easy. Export your results as a PDF that includes your purpose, goals, and 3 key questions for your clinician. It helps them understand and treat you better without adding more work for them.
How often should I retest?
1–2 times a year is typical. If you’re recovering from injury or illness, you might test at the start, midpoint, and finish. If you’re pushing performance, test at key training stages. There’s no wrong answer.

Yes. Each interpretation is $350. You can order through us or upload results you got elsewhere anytime.
